Twonky Teams up with Video Websites and Mobile Apps to Bring Beamable Content to the Masses
Beam BedRocket, ToonGoggles, Anywhere Artist and U-NEXT content from your wireless devices to your TV with Twonky Beam

NEWS FACTS:
· PacketVideo announced that its Twonky Beam button will be integrated into BedRocket, Toon Goggles and U-NEXT’s video websites and inside Anywhere Artist mobile app SDK. When watching a video on one of these sites users can click on the beam button to wirelessly transfer the video from their smartphone, tablet or PC to their Internet-connected TV.
· The Twonky Beam button is now available for integration into all websites and mobile apps that want to incorporate beaming functionality.
· Users can download Twonky’s free software to begin beaming. PC users will download Twonky 7, while mobile users will download the free Twonky Beam app from the Android or iOS market.
· No device set-up is needed, once you have Twonky software it will automatically find your Internet-connected devices without ever needing to set up cables. It’s a simple three-step process:
- Create your Wi-Fi connection
- Choose which Internet-connected device you want to beam video to
- Click the video’s beam button
· The Twonky Beam app serves as a remote for the content you’re beaming, allowing you to control playback, volume and more all from your tablet or smartphone while watching videos on your TV or listening to music on your stereo.
· To make sure that a broad selection of videos are easily beamable, Twonky has chosen a variety of content partners:
- Toon Goggles: is a children's entertainment channel that offers child- and parent-friendly clips, trailers, episodes and features.
- Bedrocket Media Ventures: Bedrocket Media Ventures is a leading creator of new online channels, including Network A, Kick, Official Comedy and Look TV.
- Anywhere Artist: is an iOS app platform designed to allow anyone, established or new to the industry, to promote themselves to more than 500 million iOS devices worldwide. The first app to include the beaming feature is now available on the Apple App Market under the name DJ Beam.
- U-NEXT: is a Japanese entertainment service in that offers movies, TV dramas and so on for SVOD (Subscription Video-On Demand). U-NEXT is utilizing the Twonky Beam button to play and beam protected content via DTCP-IP. This feature is currently available for Android platforms, with iOS to follow soon.
