UK: Two libraries set up business centres

Libraries in Manchester and Birmingham to help business start-ups.

The Library of Birmingham and Manchester Central Library have opened up new Business and IP Centres based on the British Library’s model in London

The centres will support local entrepreneurs, helping them to start, run and grow their businesses.

Entrepreneurs will have access to valuable library collections, workshops, networking events and one-to-one advice and coaching services.  A similar service has already been opened in Newcastle.
