ILI 2020 Call for Speakers now open

Library innovation conference highlights 2020 theme of ‘Strategies, solutions, stories, and strength'


The Call for Speakers for Internet Librarian International (ILI) 2020 is now open.

This year’s theme is ‘Strategies, solutions, stories and strength’. The conference will take place at London’s Olympia Conference Centre on 13-14 October.

ILI is known for its emphasis on library innovation, attracting an audience of hundreds of library and information professionals from more than 30 countries.

The conference committee is keen to receive ideas for case studies, and presentations which highlight practical implementations, personal experiences and lessons learned. ILI’s international speakers come from a wide range of settings including academic and research libraries, public libraries, school libraries, and corporates.

The Call for Speakers identifies ’20 ideas for 2020’ ranging from AI and big data, to zero cost projects and including topics such as Creative communities, networks and partnerships; Digital scholarship; Marketing and engagement; and Understanding users and UX. There is also a wildcard option.
