Archive of Berlin: Elsevier partnership announced

Collaboration aims to establish Berlin as a central research location.

Elsevier has announced an agreement with Berlin’s Charité, the Humboldt University (Humboldt-Universität), the Free University of Berlin (Freie Universität) and the Technical University of Berlin (Technische Universität).  All of these institutions are part of the Friedrich-Althoff Consortium.  The aim is to create a comprehensive digital scientific literature infrastructure – an 'Archive of Berlin'.

The customised agreement means that all four universities will be able to combine their access rights to create a shared access archive.
