Google, kids and code

Project Bloks will teach children how to code.

Project Bloks is a modular hardware system that aims to encourage computational thinking. Google is about to test the system in a number of schools.

The platform consists of a Brain Board (built on Raspberry Pi Zero) which provides power and connectivity; a Base Board which provides the connective units; and Pucks which can be programmed to interact.  Together they combine to create a flexible system that can be used to send instructions to devices.
