mPulse Mobile Acquires MessageBeam

mPulse Mobile, a provider of mobile healthcare industry-focused solutions for engaging and activating consumers, has acquired MessageBeam, a healthcare communications company. The acquisition was funded by mPulse's recent Series B round. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

mPulse Mobile's Activation Intelligence capabilities, combined with the expanded communication channels that MessageBeam brings, enable healthcare organizations to dynamically profile, target, and deliver personalized health engagement that drives healthy behavior change. In addition, mPulse Mobile can manage consumers' preferences to dynamically target conversations through their preferred channels, including text, email, web, or phone.

MessageBeam delivers patient engagement solutions, including interactive voice response system techniology, for procedure compliance, appointment attendance, preventive screenings, disease management and revenue management for healthcare providers.
